Chris’ passion for photography began in his early teenage years when his mother (with great foresight) sent him off, with his 2 sisters and brother, to photography courses every school holidays. The darkroom is an intriguing and amazing place for nurturing creativity.
After completing a BA Chris entered the commercial photography industry and has never looked back.

Chris has worked with all the major food, lifestyle and interiors titles including Donna Hay, Gourmet Traveler, Martha Stewart, Harpers Bazaar, Vogue Living, Living Etc and many many more.

His advertising clients include McDonald's, Dominos, Oporto, Red Rooster, Nestle, Williams Sonoma, West Elm, Sunbeam, Breville, Stacy’s Chips, Campbell’s, David Jones, Myers, Toyota, Perfect Italiano, Masterfoods, San Remo, Lindt.

In 2017 Chris won the James Beard award for photography after also winning the IACP Photography/Styling award.

Chris has also photographed 4 lifestyle books (Etcetera, Nomad, Bowerbird & Gypsy) with author and sister Sibella Court.

Chris lives between Sydney and the USA with his young family.
